I don’t need a national language

I love my country

I love my country men

I love my country men’s love for their mother tongue

I don’t need a national language

I love it when my cab driver changes songs to my mother tongue

I love it even when he keeps listening to songs in his own mother tongue

I love our linguistic diversity

I don’t need a national language

I love it when my efforts to speak in local language are greatly appreciated

I love it when my friends gently nudge me to learn a new language

I love it when I am able to communicate with people without a common language but Indianness

I don’t need a national language

I love that we are not an exact copy of each other

I love that we don’t want to make ourselves copies of each other

I love that our oneness comes from our understanding of each other not similarly

I don’t need a national language

FYI: Kichcha SudeepAjay Devgn
